| Resumo: | Based on interviews with professionals acting in institutional and home deliveries in Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires and its peripheries, this article probes into the practice of some interventions and their relationship with “good care”, body intelligence and production/management of labouring women’s autonomies. It focuses specially on the action of endogenous and synthetic oxytocin and anaesthesia, understanding the ways in which the assistants’ choices and decisions shape and co-create care micropolitics, producing physiologies, temporalities and relationships. |
