| Resumo: | This article proposes to present a vision of education as an interdisciplinary field, while constructing a narrative about the crisis in Brazilian education from the life experience of a university professor in the area of sociology, who previously developed a career as an industrial engineer, thus characterizing an autoethnography, given, among others, the difficulty in separating the subject from the object of research. The crisis in education and the notion of interdisciplinarity are presented from cases experienced by the subject of history and seek to demonstrate how they collaborated in the construction of a habitus in the Bourdiesian sense, which makes him see the crisis of education as something that began in the 1980s, and whose solution demands protagonism on the part of teachers and educational administrators who are willing to listen and work in an interdisciplinary way with the other sectors of the society. |
