| Resumo: | This study presents two funerary structures carved in the matrix rock of the Toca da Baixa dos Caboclos archaeological site, located in Piauí southeast state of Piauí. In this site were found nine prehistoric burials, four of them were accommodated in that kind of structure that is unprecedented until now in this region. This study provides a first analysis, presenting preliminary data observed in those structures and seeking to relate it to the funerary practises encountered in its burials. |
