| Sumario: | This paper presents a conceptual analysis about the term “reference journalism” when identifying and analyzing Brazilian and foreign researches on the subject. By a movement of metaanalysis, captures different uses such as delimitation of the object of study, justification corpus, methodological strategy or theoretical construct. Aims to recover the elements triggered by the researchers use the terms “reference”, “elite”, “prestige” or “quality”. Thus, a mapping of academic texts in 15 years was drawn from the database of Theses and Dissertations of Capes, which, in turn, led to others. Through this process, 13 investigations for an analysis of the concept of “Journalism Reference” were selected. In this work of “research about research” also were included works about Journalism of Letters field and Language Studies. This construct provides important elements for the analysis of journalism itself. |
