| Resumo: | The city of Sao Paulo changed a lot in the first decades of XX century, what induced many artistic manifestations based on this theme. This paper aims to describe how the changes in the city influenced the communication manifestations during the beginnig of XX century. Tourists impressions and artistic expressions, such as paintings, engravings, literature (chronicles, novels and poetry) and scenes of the movie "Sao Paulo, Sinfonia da Metropole", were used as object of study. |
