| Resumo: | The article analyzes the impacts of the preparation process for the Exame Nacional de Desempenho dos Estudantes (ENADE) on teaching work and the internal guidelines of one private higher education institution. Referenced in the Historical-Dialectical Materialist method, it highlights that ENADE has become the protagonist of the National Higher Education Assessment System of Brazil, conditioning the daily life of higher education Institutions, especially private ones, which causes concern and demands from the Dean's Office. of the investigated institution. Note that students' preparatory activities for ENADE are focused on classes submitted to external assessment, in parallel to the curricular matrix, through workshops and lectures. This process places a burden on professionals who find themselves in a scenario of excessive demands for good results in external evaluation. |
