The methodology for incubating solidary economic enterprises was developed by a multidisciplinary team and designs advice for solid waste cooperatives in the municipalities of Canoas, Nova Santa Rita and Esteio, RS, Brazil. With funding from FAPERGS, this ongoing study presents some results about the research on screen. The method used for this research is qualitative and explanatory, with an ethnographic bias. For data collection, documents from the incubator, participant observation and semi-structured interviews were used. Thematic content analysis is employed in the study. Reflections point out that the performance in the incubation area is fundamental in making a strategy for strengthening urban solid waste cooperatives in a more solidary manner through technical support procedures for the management of the cooperatives and systematization of actions, with memory as an element standout.O objetivo deste artigo é analisar as práticas de incubação desenvolvidas pela Incubadora de Empreendimento Solidários da Universidade La Salle no período de 2009 a 2016, por meio da lente conceitual da memória social, economia solidária e estratégia como prática. A metodologia de incubação de empreendimentos econômicos solidáriosfoi desenvolvida por uma equipe multidisciplinar e projeta a assessoria para cooperativas de resíduos sólidos nos municípios de Canoas, Nova Santa Rita e Esteio, RS, Brasil. Com financiamento da Fapergs, este estudo, em andamento, apresenta alguns resultados sobre a pesquisa em tela. O método utilizado para esta pesquisa é qualitativoe explicativo, com viés etnográfico. Para a coleta de dados foram utilizados os documentos da incubadora, observação participante e entrevistas semiestruturadas. A análise de conteúdo temática é empregada no estudo.
