| Sumario: | This article analyses the political behavior of industrial business elites and banks during the Brazilian crisis, between 2011 and 2017. Rebuilding the situation of the period based on the comparison of evaluations, positions and demands contained in discourse and actions of the main associative entities from both sectors, we concluded that, throughout the first Dilma Rousseff administration, with the decline of economic growt, the intensification of distributive conflict between capital and labour led industrialists and bankers to sideline the contradictions that divided them into productivist and rentier coalitions nad unified into coalition critical of Dilma and defender of neoliberal reforms implemented by Michel Temer after impeachment. |
