Descripción
Sumario:Mysticism is present in various traditions, with very particular characteristics in each of them. There is indeed a challenge in thinking and conceiving of the mystical experience beyond the great universal religious traditions. Particularly for Christianity, Judaism and Islam, since there are countless authors who have dealt with this subject. This article aims to identify, through a bibliographical survey, whether it is possible to establish the presence of mysticism in Spiritism. Spiritism is a tradition where it is not common to attribute this characteristic. Additionally, the article intends to provide a model that can be used to compare with other traditions of lesser expression. In order to achieve this goal, we intend to define in some way, despite the great polysemy of the term, what mysticism is and draw comparisons that will allow us to conclude whether there is a presence of mysticism in this doctrine.
