Effect in growing rabbits of oligosaccharide mannose and acidifiers in diets containing high starch

Assay was carried out to verify the effects of the addition of fumaric acid, oligosaccharide mannose (BIO-MOS®), acidifiers (ACID-ALL®) and oligosaccharide + acidifiers in diets on the performance of growing rabbits fed on diets with high starch contents (26.60%). 100 WNZ rabbits, 50...

Descrição
Resumo:Assay was carried out to verify the effects of the addition of fumaric acid, oligosaccharide mannose (BIO-MOS®), acidifiers (ACID-ALL®) and oligosaccharide + acidifiers in diets on the performance of growing rabbits fed on diets with high starch contents (26.60%). 100 WNZ rabbits, 50 males and 50 females, age ranging from 35 to 70 days old, were distributed in a randomized experimental design with five treatments, 10 replications and two animals per experimental unit. In periods 35-50 and 35-70 days of experiment the performance and carcass characteristics were not affected by the inclusion of oligosaccharide mannose, acidifiers and oligosaccharide +acidifiers.
