| Sumario: | Amid controversies surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, the citizen was faced with the challenge of seeking reliable information about the new coronavirus. This article discusses the content produced about the disease and its repercussions on the YouTube channels of Dráuzio Varella and Atila Iamarino. We analyzed the social phenomenon of these digital influencers, considering the epidemiological evolution. The results indicated that health and science experts gained more visibility in tackling disinformation, becoming more popular influencers and revealing new trends in the dissemination of information on epidemics. |
