| Sumario: | The space distribution of the cases of dengue was described in São José do Rio Preto in the period from 1990 to 2005 and it was related with variable entomological, environmental and economic social. They were georeferencing the cases according to sections of census of 14 areas of the municipal district. Index of Moran was used in the analysis of the patterns space distribution. Data for economic social characterization were obtained in the IBGE. Distribution of Aedes aegypti was analyzed through the risings of the larvae. Larger incidences were observed in the areas east and center with index of Moran of 0.2517, demonstrating similarity among the areas. The dengue incidence was larger in the areas with pattern of income and medium instruction, being lightly larger in the feminine sex. With relationship to the recipients the vase deserved larger prominence. The space occurrence of the dengue didn't present uniform pattern. The index of larvae grew in the rain periods, and it showed that the habits of the species vary with the readiness of local favorable for its development. |
