| Sumario: | This work, entitled Peda?os d?alma: representa??es da lira gauche de Honorato Filho, contains the results of research and analysis of the work of the writer Honorato Filho (1886-1949). The study proposes an analysis of the literary context lived in Brazil between the years from 1920 to 1940, production period of the referred author, which were in vogue the Modernism at a national level and the modernity groups from Bahia, which incited a literary renewal in the state?s capital. Ideologically away from that renewal, the majority of the writers in Feira de Santana produced literature with end of the century characteristics. As the main goal, it was emphasized the aspects of the lyric of Honorato Filho that is in poetry and in prose compositions, the analysis of interlocutions that exposes the poetic eclecticism of Honorato, the low critical fortune of the author, as he became attached to publications in newspapers, and the poetic veins of his unique published book, Peda?os d?alma, that presentes a parnaso-romantic author, dual, therefore gauche. A particular attention was devoted to the unpublished stuff, which had distinct lines of his literary production analyzed. The discussion of the pertinence of the rescue of a name outside the canon and its significance for the local literary historiography was also objectified. |
