| Resumo: | The companies constantly seek to overcome their competitors by adopting management systems that perpetuate its continuity and further add value to their investors. In this sense this article discusses the advantages of an ERP supporting the adoption of the Value Based Management. It demonstrates the value drivers that can be used to increase the value generated to shareholders and the implementation stages of VBM receiving support from an ERP system. It concludes that the implementation and successful maintenance of VBM depends on the choice of the successful vendor in the ERP system, the value drivers and even a culture which promotes the value generation. |
