| Sumario: | This article is about Catholic LGBTI+ groups, gathered in the Catholic Network of LGBTI+ Groups, metaphorically called here “the other colors of Catholicism”. It highlights part of the results of a doctoral research in Science of Religion, at the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo, completed in early 2024. This work mainly elucidates historical aspects of such collectives, as well as some conflicts they face, in addition to strategies they undertake to affirm their catholic religious citizenship, therefore, as effective members of the ecclesiastical community. |
