Descripción
Sumario:The text presented here is the product of an inaugural conference held at the IV Brazilian and Latin American Seminar on Motor Praxiology, an event held at the UFSM (Santa María, Brazil), from May 18 to 21, 2023. It is addressed as follows: They were modifying the relationships between Physical Education and Motor Praxiology. Now that 60 years have passed since the appearance in France of the first praxiological publications, this article takes up some significant axes that took place throughout that historical journey. It begins with the War of Methods in the 19th century, passing through the 1960s and 1970s that show the creation of new pedagogical proposals and then the beginning of a new paradigm is presented, the pedagogy of motor conducts. The following sections address the main concepts of the Science of Motor Action, considered in their relationships with the area of Physical Education. The text concludes by making a tight synthesis of the achievements and what remains pending for groups of teachers and researchers who travel and advance along this original path.
