Sumario:The objective, in this work, was to evaluate the pediatric doctors’ and dentists’ knowledge of fluorinated composites. In the research, 79 pediatric doctors and 41 pediatric dentists from Manaus (AM) answered a questionnaire and the obtained data were analyzed by Fisher accurate test and by Pearson qui-square test. By the questionnaires analysis, it was verified that some polyvitamins and medicines that contain fluorine are usually prescribed by pediatric doctors, and that dental fluorinated products are quite used by pediatric doctors. There wasn’t any relation between knowledge and graduation time, the professional’s age, university, city where one works and their performance area. It was concluded that the knowledge of the pediatric doctors and pediatric dentists in Manaus about the fluorine presence in some sources of ingestion was insufficient and, in some situations, worrisome, regarding dental fluorosis prevention. Still, pediatric dentists showed more information on this subject.
