Description
Summary:The aim of this dissertation is to analyze the notion of plurality in Hannah Arendt’s work and to investigate, based on this analysis, the specific and singular understanding of politics that the concept of plurality seems to engender in the author’s political thought. Our intention is thus to demonstrate the fundamental and central character of plurality in Arendt's reflection on politics, as well as to show that when she brings the human condition of plurality to the center of this reflection, to the very heart of her political thought, Arendt presents us or allow us to glimpse a conception of politics that is distinct from that which has been transmitted to us by the Tradition of Political Philosophy.
