| Resumo: | This work presents the development of an electronic topology to supply an LED-based street lighting system, which is integrated to a grid-connected photovoltaic distributed generation system. The lighting systems need to present high power factor and comply with the IEC-61000-3-2 Class C standard requirements, to lighting equipment. The photovoltaic systems need to comply with a series of recommendation when grid-connected. Therefore, a bidirectional electronic system based on the integration between two flyback converters is proposed, providing the energy injection from the photovoltaic panel in the grid during the day, and feeding an LED luminaire during the night. A prototype was implemented, the luminaire demands 106 W, while the peak generation point of the photovoltaic panel is 130 W in nominal conditions. Experimental results prove the design methodology through the satisfactory operation of the system, presenting near-unity power factor and high efficiency in both operation stages. |
