Sumario:The socio-spatial transformations resulting from the tourist use in the Northeast region of Brazil point to the permanent need to monitor the territories constituted by the power relations and conflicts established in their production. Following the trend of the Northeast region, Aracaju, capital of the State of Sergipe, presents itself as the main centrality of Sergipe tourism, both for the ability to concentrate and distribute the tourist flow to the interior, aswell as for the concentration of fixed equipment of the various sectors that make up the tourist offer of Sergipe. In the unfolding of the National Tourism Policy, the Tourism Regionalization Program (PRT) originally focused on the planning and organization of tourist development regions, started to prioritize tourist destinations, the capitals admittedly led the focus of the policy. In this case, and without ignoring the relevance of the region, analyzing the city as a destination requires the understanding that its entire area is not taken over by tourism production, therefore, it is necessary to identify its tourist territories. Faced with this problem, the research focuses on the following question: what are the tourist territories of the destination Aracaju? This work aims to identify the tourist territories of Aracaju, and for that, a discussion about tourist territories was carried out, analyzing historical aspects of their constitution and elaborating proposals to support the development of the activity. As procedures and techniques of methodological support were used the survey and analysis of bibliography, document analysis, field visits and direct observation in technical meetings held from 2007 to 2019. Among the main results are the identification of seven tourist territories, the influence the public authorities in prioritizing tourist territorialization, and the challenge of planning and monitoring the development of tourism in Aracaju.
