Sumario:The encounter between art and religion is well known and is expressed in different ways. Religion, as a radically human theme, challenges the artist, who responds with creativity, mobilizing his/her spirit. Art making is also, therefore, a spiritual exercise. This is the field in which we discovered Cora Coralina, an artist from Goiás who knew how to read the culture and the world around her and translate it into poetry. Her texts exude spirituality, religious or not, which obliges us to recognize her as an authentic mystic of our time.
