| Sumario: | The present article discusses structural questions on Neapolitan novels, a series of four books written by the Italian contemporary writer Elena Ferrante. In it, is presented the choice of the pseudonym by the author as intentionality and as part of both the formal and stylistic structure of her work. Besides, it discusses the intercrossing between verisimilitude, the truth and the true reader, concepts defined by Ferrante in her critic and metanarrative work. Yet, it analyses the extra and intra literary mirroring, i.e., aspects of the double that reverberate in all author’s literary and critic work, in the themes presented and developed throughout her literary production. Finally, it approaches of the Ferrante’s final intention of blurring limits between autobiography and fiction by presenting a literary and metanarrative work in which these elements merge to create a device of authentication of a given reality. These elements have as objective to create a persona with her own life and history, as well as these elements intend to merge to history and life in her literary narrative. |
