Description
Summary:The lithic vestiges of GO-JA-03 site, Serranópolis, state of Goiás, Brazil, present large, thin, elongated flakes knapped with soft stone percussion or tangential organic percussion, with very specific technical procedures near the butt. These flakes will serve as support for unifacial artifacts (flat-convex section). The method of analysis included the concept of the Chaïne Opératoire, which considers the instruments from their abandonment through all phases of production. The results demonstrate a well-structured industry with a high level of savoir-faire.
