Description
Summary:This academic text aims to analyze the UFU / Community Integration Extension Program (PEIC) from 2003 to 2015, in order to understand its role in the extension activities and in training undergraduates of the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU), who act as scholarship holders in projects related to education and teaching. In this documentary study, we highlight the changes that occurred in the Peic objectives and the progressive resources growth destined to the program in the period excerpted for research. Analyzing the results of the projects supported by the Program, it is noticeable that most of them present their production of knowledge in the form of publications, indicating the sharing of results outside their limits. On the other hand, it is understood that it is necessary to deepen the evaluation of the students participating under the Peic, in order to feed the extension worker system of UFU.
