| Resumo: | The present work is an excerpt from a Master's research that aims to investigate how Financial Education can be worked from the Problem Solving methodology based on Critical Mathematics Education. Through a qualitative research, we present an activity proposal using newspaper news to propose discussions about the contexts in which students live, contributing to the development of critical-reflective competence and to the promotion of citizenship and social justice. The proposal presented is centered on the valorization of real situations as focuses of interest for the problematization, contributing significantly to the financial literacy of Basic Education students. |
