Sumario:This essay is intended to demonstrate how the poetic imagery phenomenon relates to the eroticism seen in the poet Carlos Drummond De Andrade’s book O amor natural. As it can be discemed, the dispute and/or approach to pertinent analogous issues, as the limits involving what is erotic and what is pomographic, the indisputable genuine connection amongst tradition and the intrinsic elemental dialogue of his own creation. Our analysis concentrates, above all, on the fact that the book’s lyricism portrays more expression, as the eroticism present in the poems ascertain the convergence silhouette of “in tension” elements that are, to some extent, ordinarily noticed in poetic expression, which generate nuance, when the text is taken as a body that insinuates and expresses itself, standing in a place of prestige where various diversified distinct voices meet, and this congregation and gathering becomes possible due to the intervention ofthe poetic language
