| Sumario: | Based on participant observation field work, we intend to discuss the category of permanent original accumulation based on data and information on the epidemiological context of Barra Longa/MG, a municipality brutally affected by the rupture of the Fundão Dam in 2015. We observe that the movements that organize the populations affected by the rupture of the Fundão Dam, in Barra Longa, especially the Movimento dos Atingidos por Barragens (Movement of People Affected by Dams), have at the center of their political intentionality the claim in the participation and control of the proposal to repair health damages. It is a protagonist participation, as opposed to agonic participation, this carried out in the form of the business management of the repair process. |
