Next, the authors reflect on their experiences in their respective programs, indicating potentialities and challenges in the process, as well as strategies they use to develop this complex mission.El artículo analiza los desafíos en el proceso de orientación de investigadores cualitativos críticos en cursos de posgrado en salud pública/colectiva a partir de las experiencias de una investigadora brasileña y un investigador colombiano. Se discute el significado de “crítico” y cómo se ha utilizado este concepto en el campo de la salud, con el fin de definir qué se entiende por investigador cualitativo crítico. A continuación, los autores reflexionan sobre sus experiencias en sus respectivos programas, señalando potencialidades y desafíos en el proceso, así como estrategias que utilizan para desarrollar esta compleja misión.O artigo analisa desafios no processo de orientação de pesquisadores qualitativos críticos nas pós-graduações em saúde pública/coletiva com base nas experiências de uma pesquisadora brasileira e um pesquisador colombiano. Discute-se o significado de “crítico” e como esse conceito vem sendo empregado no campo da saúde, de modo a ser demarcado o que se entende por pesquisador qualitativo crítico.
