Sumario:The objective of this article is to investigate and analyze the adequacy of Paraíba's ICT innovation policies in relation to the relevant legal framework, using as a parameter the essential themes for innovation policies portrayed in the Guidance guide for drafting ICT innovation policy. To achieve this objective, a bibliographic review and data collection were carried out through the analysis of normative documents from five different ICTs based in the state, which appear in the FORMICT 2019 report, involving identification of opportunities for optimization and alignment between local initiatives, legal frameworks and government guidelines. The results demonstrated that despite the efforts made to align innovation policies with legal updates, there are still gaps or omissions that make it difficult to apply these provisions into tangible results, highlighting the need for an urgent process of normative review/updating of innovation policies in companies.
