| Sumario: | This article aims to present the mapping of the cultural heritage of the state of Rondônia, which consists of part of a project for the creation of a cultural information base in the multimedia environment with a view to its preservation and wide dissemination. To this end, an exploratory research with a qualitative approach was developed, with the purpose of knowing and gathering some of the cultural manifestations that build the memory of Rondonian society. In order to delimit the project to the identification of cultural heritage in Rondônia, two categories were prioritized: material cultural heritage and intangible cultural heritage, and, based on these, the subcategories were established: listed assets, listed assets and cultural assets with tradition. For the treatment of information, the foundations of the CDU, post-coordinated indexing and cataloging were used. As a result, some tangible and intangible assets of the state of Rondônia are presented and discussed, with relevant information about each one of them. It was concluded that the proposed cultural mapping offers a visibility of the tangible and intangible cultural assets of a region, providing information capable of instrumentalizing research and consultations on the subject. |
