| Resumo: | The teaching of astronomy topics like: terrestrial ubication, stations, change of observation accordance to latitude reference of observer, to teachers in training is necessary, as this helps them enhance their conceptual mastery, required to cope adequately the contexts that nourish the teaching in classrooms. For the above, it's designed a didactic sequence named "el cielo y sus curiosidades: desafíos y conceptos básicos" that encompass the previously mentioned topics, and it is implemented with the students of the Astronomía General elective of Universidad Pedagógica Nacional. The methodology applied to study the conceptual change is qualitative, and collets information through questionnaires in this case, with open questions which are analyzed by means of the Emerging Categories Method. The conceptual advance was determined comparing the pre and posttest' results. The results shown that, although the teachers in training improve their conceptual mastery, the still have difficulties in understanding the use of the cardinal points as a reference system and how these affect the stars' observation accordance to observer latitude. |
