Descrição
Resumo:The aim of the article is to analyse the ideological dimension in contemporary Brazil from the identification of an overlapping of ideologies in Brazilian society, which has become hegemonic since the 2018 elections. The article combines theoretical discussion with factual evidence. We started from an epistemological discussion about the concept of ideology, categorized fascism and liberal-conservatism, and analysed the evolution of the disputes between different ideological strands, led by the social-democratic left and the neoliberal right, in the country's recent history. We conclude, finally, that the current Brazilian political framework is the result of the mutualism between liberal-conservatism and fascism.
