| Resumo: | This article presents the application of a step-by-step recording method, part of the Metodologia de Design de Histórias developed at the Laboratório de Design de Histórias (Dhis), at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio), in a field research on the celebration of Bate-Bolas, in Rio de Janeiro. Aiming to map and publicize the production process of the vest, a central piece of the costume made by celebration-goers, a documentary video was produced. This field immersion strategy allowed us to collect data for subsequent semiological analysis of the complex context in which the vest is produced. Here, the documentation of manufacturing processes emerges as a relevant method for sustainable dissemination of marginalized cultures. |
