| Sumario: | The present work was designed to collaborate with information and meet the need to investigate the current situation of graduates of the Executive Secretariat course at the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB) - Campus IV. We sought to address issues related to employability, the labor market, appreciation and recognition of the profession, remuneration, working hours and pandemic. As a methodological procedure, a quantitative-descriptive approach was used for data collection, using tools such as Excel and Google Forms, to assist in storing the collected information. From the results, it was possible to observe that most of the graduates do not work in the training area. The market is still very scarce for the Executive Secretariat professional, and only a small part of the graduates sought qualification, not limited to graduation and guaranteeing their employability. The vast majority of graduates point to difficulties in exercising remote work during the pandemic because they are not familiar with technological equipment, even though this is a secretarial skill. Regarding the difficulties faced during the pandemic, most of the graduates who act as executive secretaries declare that they do not suffer losses that affect employability, so that the quality of the activities carried out by this professional, when in the remote modality , does not change. |
