| Sumario: | This article verifies the effects of Covid-19, on Telework and Emergency Remote Teaching, in private institutions of higher education in the state of Minas Gerais. To respond to the challenges, the study relies on research of an applied nature, qualitative and quantitative, with a descriptive matrix, to analyze the three Higher Education Institutions that belong to the educational group, Prominas. The survey results point to the significant presence of women, identifying concerns about the quality of remote teaching. For students, the environment hindered social interaction, connection with classmates and teachers. On the other hand, the research indicates that students realized the flexibility of remote teaching, the use of digital tool, however, they prefer face-to-face classes. The group of administrative technicians showed interest in expanding their remote activities in the post-pandemic period, however, they are concerned about labor laws. Teachers face challenges in the technological field, in academic experiences, interaction challenges, with little prospect for distance learning. Managers had to deal with a series of challenges and make quick decisions to ensure the safety of students, faculty and staff, while at the same time having the task of keeping institutions running with their academic activities. Finally, mapping, verifying and analyzing the effects of Covid-19 on Telework, Emergency Remote Teaching, in private institutions of higher education, is still a recent phenomenon, which needs more technological support, new pedagogical, administrative and research processes.
