More specifically, I will illustrate the principles underlying that course, and how they were based on scientific data that helped us develop a version of the phonic method that we call “optimized”. I will also present a 12-point summary of the basic concepts and steps of literacy progression, based on these objectives and principles.Neste artigo, ilustrarei um curso de literacia estruturado de acordo com dois objetivos intercalares: (i) a compreensão e o domínio do princípio alfabético e (ii) a utilização do código ortográfico na decodificação (para a leitura) e na codificação (para a escrita) de palavras. Mais especificamente, ilustrarei os princípios subjacentes a esse curso, e como foram baseados em dados científicos que nos ajudaram a desenvolver uma versão de método fónico que chamamos de “otimizada”.
