Method: To carry out the research we used a qualitative approach, in addition to the construction of geospatial figures to emphasize the data. Results: In addition to the body's senses assisting in the process of building a spatial memory, the places of belonging also build this perception, because the more affection we feel from the different environments, the greater the tendency to return to that place.Contexto: Este artículo tiene como objetivo comprender cómo los sentidos del cuerpo pueden mejorar de acuerdo con las condiciones impuestas a cada sujeto. En este caso específico, nos interesa comprender cómo las personas con discapacidad visual pueden explorar el potencial de cada sentido - tacto, olfato, gusto, oído para la construcción de una memoria espacial y percepción del lugar. Método: Para realizar la investigación se utilizó un enfoque cualitativo, además de la construcción de figuras geoespaciales para enfatizar los datos. Resultados: Además de que los sentidos del cuerpo ayudan en el proceso de construcción de una memoria espacial, los lugares de pertenencia también construyen esta percepción, porque cuanto más afecto sentimos de los diferentes ambientes, mayor es la tendencia a volver a ese lugar.Contexto: Este artigo tem como objetivo entender como os sentidos do corpo podem se aperfeiçoar de acordo com as condições impostas a cada sujeito. Nesse caso específico, nos interessa compreender como pessoas com limitação visual podem explorar as potencialidades de cada sentido - tato, olfato, paladar, audição para a construção de uma memória espacial e percepção do lugar. Além disso, aparecem no texto outros elementos que são externos ao corpo, mas que podem ajudar a descoberta do mundo pelas pessoas com cegueira, como é o caso dos cães guias, ou de corpos ciborgues como é o caso do uso da bengala para cegos.
