| Resumo: | This article outlines a brief genealogy of the pedagogical function in film image. Setting off from philosopher Gilles Deleuze’s dialogues with the seventh art in the 70's and 80's, the analysis employs some of the concepts coined by him when recognizing the deep relations between cinema and thought.
