Descripción
Sumario:This work aims to contribute to the epistemology of communication in the post-truth era, based on a semiotic and discursive tension regarding the notions of truth and truth effect. For this, the present text discusses dilemmas related to signs, texts, discourses and the formation of meaning, which seem to us not only relevant to understand general aspects of the media-society relationship, but also specific aspects of the sign-object and the sign-interpretant relationship, which constitute the bases of the problematization about the construction of reality, opinion, belief and perception about the truth. We understand that the field of studies in communication, given its prominent place in the debate about the imbrications between fake news, digital media, public and political opinion, has a fundamental role in contemporary society, which so much needs to understand semiotic-discursive phenomena.
