| Sumario: | The scope of this study has been to develop, implement and analyze a didactic sequence involving the study of Afim Function and its mathematical presentations in a semiotic view, using GeoGebra Software for students learning. The research was supported by French theorists in the Didactics of Mathematics: Duval´s Theory of Semiotics Representation Registers (2004) and Didactic Engineering Curriculum proposed by Artigue (1990) for analysis of the records of students in the classroom. Pedagogical intervention happened in a class of 1st year of High School at a state school in the city of Gaspar-SC, Brazil, in the course of regular classes in Mathematics, where a didactic sequence consisting of a priori and a posteriori analyses was developed. Analyses of activities allowed the conclusion that development of didactic sequence using GeoGebra was efficient and achieved the original aims: to recognize the Afim Function in natural, algebraic, graphical and tabular languages, to understand treatment procedures in different records and to perform the process of conversion between different records. Thus, the validity of the activities became apparent and the use of GeoGebra contributed to the learning of the object of study "Afim Function". Key words: Records of representation. GeoGebra.
