Descrição
Resumo:The presence of Streptococcus resembling Streptococcus mutans supposed caries inductors, was demonstrated in on environment. Colonial morphology and biochemical characteristics of these microorganisms suggest some identity to those already, demonstrated as cariogenic to animals and humans throughout the world. These observations brought some support to the hypothesis that caries would be a bacteriologically specific disease.
