| Sumario: | Storage is one of the most important processes that make up the production chain, logistics and agribusiness. In the latter, the storage process makes it possible to increase grain production, distribution and market stability. Given the importance of agricultural storage for agribusiness, this study aims to analyze the static storage capacity of agricultural products in warehouses in the municipalities of the northern Minas region in 2015 and 2020. Through a descriptive research, with quantitative approach, it was possible to carry out the data collection. To carry out the analysis, the data were obtained through the National Registry of Storage Units System of the National Supply Company (SICARM/Conab). Through the analyzes carried out, it was possible to infer that the municipalities of Montes Claros/MG and Buritizeiro/MG have higher percentages of conventional type warehouses in the analyzed periods. As for bulk type warehouses, the municipalities of Buritzeiro/MG, Chapada Gaúcha/MG and Pirapora/MG had the highest percentages. The municipalities with the highest percentage of grain storage capacity in conventional warehouses are Montes Claros/MG and Buritizeiro/MG. With regard to bulk warehouses, the municipalities with the highest storage capacities were Buritizeiro/MG, Chapada Gaúcha/MG and Pirapora/MG. |
