Descrição
Resumo:The aim of our dissertation is to classify mappings having singularities of classes ΣI, by an investigations of the quadratic part of their jets. To reach that purpose we associate to each singularity, in an invariant way, its family of quadratic forms - the quadratic differential. By associating to this object, its bundle of quadratic forms, we conclude that the bundle dispositions is an invariant of the singularity. So the singularities of class Σ2 are characterized by seven possible situations for the bundle. For singularity of class Σ3 it is impossible to enumerate since to each bundle is associated a projective class of cubics.
