Descripción
Sumario:The main objective of this work is to analyze the religious hybridity present in manifestations of Brazilian Pentecostalism, seeking to observe in this religious field the conflicts, tensions and agreements sewn between closed doctrines in the doctrinal field of the religious institution, with religious practices of much more contours determined by the local context faithful rather than dogmatic elites. For the elaboration of the theme in question, analytical tools of Bourdieu’s methodological practice were used, in which it seeks to highlight the internal and external pragmatic character that religious symbols acquire, especially when considering the disputes and accommodations that occurred inside the production fields where these symbols they are operationalized and acquire their unique power to regulate and direct affections and behaviors.
