| Resumo: | The study discusses education and spirituality in the indigenous people Xukuru do Ororubá, located in the municipalities of Pesqueira and Poção - PE. As an objective, we seek to understand about the educational processes experienced in an indigenous school, located in that territory, highlighting spirituality as an educational principle, with a view to human construction. The theoretical approach is anchored in studies carried out by Röhr (2012; 2013), Policarpo Júnior (2010), Wilber (2012). The studies developed by these authors make possible the epistemological outline of the research, and, in view of this, the interpretation of the field research data is carried out. The relationship between the educational task and spirituality shows that education follows a path that leads both educator and student to integral human formation. The study contributes to the understanding of religious diversity in the Brazilian religious field and, consequently, to the area of Sciences of Religion, intertwined with the Brazilian religious field, culture and indigenous community. |
