Descrição
Resumo:The objective of this article is to present a sample of the collected data, reflections and results obtained within the scope of the research project “Contrastive Bilingual Lexicographic Analysis of Idiom Expressions (Portuguese-Spanish)”. This research fits into the context of phraseological studies and is guided by the theoretical principles of Contrastive Bilingual Lexicography (DURÃO; SASTRE-RUANO; WERNER, 2009). It is an applied research by sampling (GIL, 2008; 2010; LAKATOS; MARCONI, 2007), with qualitative analyzes (PRODANOV; FREITAS, 2013). Its corpus consists of a selection of idioms (IEs) formed with names of body parts in Brazilian Portuguese (from the letter A to the letter L), collected in two monolingual dictionaries, Houaiss (2009) and Aurélio (2010) , and five bilingual dictionaries (Portuguese-Spanish): Gran Diccionario (2001); Bilingual Dictionary of Use (2003); Ocean Compact Dictionary (2004); WMF School Dictionary (2011) and Michaelis School Dictionary (2008). Among the main problems identified in the analysis are: the lack of specific indication that facilitates the identification of EIs; the presentation of erroneous information; the lack of information; and the lack of systematicity in the presentation of EIs.
