Description
Summary:In this article I seek to describe the existence of the Contracolonial Device that operates at the Universidade Federal do Oeste do Pará - Ufopa in conjunction with legal advances in indigenous educational rights. I start from the assumption that contracoloniality (SANTOS, 2015) is a device with the function of producing an epistemological field of power that produces knowledge, powers and modes of subjectivation. The approach to power proposed by Foucault (2019) allows us to observe and analyze how indigenous' power takes place and manifests itself through the institutional advances observed from 2017 to 2023 in that institution.
