| Sumario: | Innovation policy is an instrument that encourages innovation and depends, for results, on public actions that stimulate the local innovation ecosystem. This study aims to analyze the profile of Brazilian municipalities that have municipal innovation acts, and which instruments were instituted by them. This work presents a qualitative-quantitative approach, of an exploratory nature, by means of a documentary survey based on legal acts. The result of the documentary research showed the profile of the acts of innovation in Brazilian municipalities, which started their institution from 1996, in the analysis, the basic instruments of the Municipal Innovation System, Municipal Innovation Fund and Municipal Innovation Council stood out. The result of the research demonstrates the profile of the municipalities and their acts of innovation. It is expected that this article will contribute to the development of dynamic models that help the elaboration or improvement of public innovation policies in Brazilian municipalities. |
