Resumo:The aim of this study was to compare the stress intensity through heart rate between RPM programs (Raw Power in Motion) and Bike Indoor. The sample consisted of eight teachers and three RPM and five Bike Indoor, all male (31 ± 5.97years; 83 ± 8.41kg; 1.78 ± 0.05m). It can be concluded that indoor cycling classes, specifically the RPM program, can promote in the sample, a high request of the cardiorespiratory system, as demonstrated by the high relative intensity values of effort, while in training Bike Indoor as well aerobic demand, one can also observe a relative request of the anaerobic system at certain times of the classes.
