Descrição
Resumo:This paper has its focus on the discussion of some key aspects of Nietzsche’s critique to metaphysics, already in his first philosophical reflections. With this aim, some of his main arguments against the establishment of the will as the thing in itself by Arthur Schopenhauer’s thought (and, therefore, against the statute of metaphysics in this philosophy) will be analyzed, in such a way that one can demonstrate the solutions, found by the author himself, in favor of the possibility of metaphysics. That way, the paper still aims to contribute to the discussions about the relationship between private reflections and published texts by the German philosopher, as far as it holds the thesis according which from an analysis of Nietzsche’s critique to metaphysics in his private notes one can understand the seeds of why he changes his approach on it in his published books.
